I've been listening to a lot of podcasts in the past few months - driving to and from the outdoor pool I enjoy throughout the Spring and Summer. Today I tuned into an episode of Super Soul Sunday with O P R A H ❤️ and listened to her conversation with Pico Iyer, a travel writer who now practices and writes about "The Art of Stillness". Describing the value of travel, he said that travel gives us the raw material ... we collect sights and experiences ... and when we get home we can process that raw material into insight. The stillness and quiet we can create at home allows us to bring meaning to the experience. If we travel "well" then that experience can elevate the way we choose to live "the rest of the time". So it's not the experiences that make our life, but how we respond to them.
I'm so happy to be traveling again with Kristin Page in just a few weeks time - for our sold out Iceland Yoga Retreat. We are so excited to invite our retreat guests to experience this magical place and create their own memories.
